French League Cup : PSG vs Lille

This time the League Cup will make its verdict. Lille, which remains on a series of impressive victories in championship meets Parisian ogre, not necessarily the best in recent times and still without Marco Verratti. Laurent Blanc and his men are favorites but they will not have the easy task facing catchy Lille and historically painful to play for them. Lille he won his first League Cup or PSG he succeed himself? One thing is certain the final looks contested.

In their history the two clubs clashed three times in domestic cup: PSG won 2-1 and 0-1, 1-0 victory LOSC.

This season in the league the two clubs are hung: Paris won narrowly in the North (0-1) and Lille took a point at Parc des Princes (0-0).

Of the last 14 duels between the two clubs, Lille have lost only twice more than one goal. Great Danes do not let go against the capital club!

Lille is shaped and comes to string six consecutive victories. Mastiffs have also lost only 3 times more than one goal difference this season in 40 games in all competitions.

Paris remains a small victory this week in Lorient in France Cup (0-1). In the League Cup, Blanc's men have won only twice by more than one goal in their last six outings.
With only one defeat in the last thirteen games in all competitions, Lille goes up in power at the best of times. After weeks of delicate notably been marked by the departure of Herve Renard, teammates Rio Mavuba departed bases to raise his head. And Mastiffs trademark, it is the defense (four goals conceded in the last six games of L1). While Rio Mavuba, Florent Balmont, Mounir Obbadi Ibrahim and Amadou turn successfully in midfield, Vincent Enyeama displays sparkling form before returning Zlatan Ibrahimovic (24 goals took about 153 shots on target this season in the league). In the League Cup, the Nigerian cash a goal every 130 minutes (six goals in 780 minutes).
Renato Civelli will he suspended hinge (Soumaoro and Sunzu are ballot to replace), while the experienced Marko Basa package was last weekend because of a contraction in the thigh. But the Montenegrin will return to face the club from the capital and LOSC can rely on two of the best side in the championship: Sébastien Corchia and Djibril Sidibé. A block that has found his feet and is ready to challenge PSG.
A final is never a game like the others. Although Paris is ultra-favorite, Lille will also have their say as they are irresistible at the moment. Solid this season behind Fred Antonetti's men will pose problems to those of white and it would not be surprising to see a tight encounter eventually. As often between the two clubs we do not see one or the other team take a whack. Lille does not lose or lose one.
