French Ligue 1 : PSG vs Rennes

Blaise Matuidi (knee) and Adrien Rabiot (suspended) are not in the PSG group for receiving Rennes Friday (20:30) at the 36th day of Ligue 1.

The challenge of Laurent Blanc in the late season are high: keep alive all the stars that make up its workforce while everything is played for ages in Ligue 1. In previous days, everything went pretty well with two beautiful home wins against Nice (4-1) and Caen (6-0), and even a 2-0 success at Guingamp in the absence of 90% of the incumbents. And for these last 3 league matches, the Paris coach can count on a size of maturity: the Coupe de France final against Marseille. As a former player OM, he knows better than anyone that a final victory against Marseille enemy always delight the Parisians, and players must
stay in shape and confident for this final meeting. The question is whether Rennais their pose problems. But with almost permanent loss of all hope of European qualification, nothing says that the men of Rolland Courbis will you need to worry PSG.

The Parisians are taxed in the final of the League Cup at the expense of Lille (2-1) despite finishing the last 20 minutes with ten against eleven after the expulsion of Rabiot. In the league they remain on three hits (Nice, Caen and Guingamp, 12 goals for, 1 against).

Rennes pass a big test. After two slaps 3-0 against Nice and Guingamp, the Britons held in check AS Monaco (1-1) and remain 7th at 5 points of the European places.

The bet "Paris score more goals in 2nd half" was validated during the last two league games played by Parisians, Guingamp and Park against Caen.

In their last 9 games, Rennes have conceded 15 goals, including 10 in the second half.

If Rennes should attempt to pick the PSG, this kept the bat. As time passes, more Paris should take the ascendant, and will have opportunities to score.

PSG is coasting and has no interest in putting pressure from the start of the match.

Paris has a habit of finishing his matches with a bang, and Rennes has often faltered in the second half of late. It was enough to consider the beautiful score above 2 for Paris score more goals in the second than in the first half.
