Euro 2016 : Italy vs Sweden

Good old Italian recipe still works, Dotted finger to his lack of offensive impact, the Azzurri has silenced all criticism by punishing Belgium (0-2) on the first day of E. Raincoats group behind thanks to insurance of a defense Barzagli, Chiellini Bonicci-labeled Juve, the Italians could count on the experience of de Rossi and a particularly good Pellè front to return the young Belgian keeps his studies. Already in a strong position, the Nazionale ahead serenely towards Ibrahimovic and his teammates. A Swedish team held in check (1-1) by Ireland engaged in a game without real sparks. Although present but not decisive, the Swedish giant could see himself guiding his team to the finals at Stadium Toulouse.

Both teams have scored in 6 of the last 9 games played by Sweden.

The first meeting of the Vikings in this Euro, against Ireland, saw both teams score at least one goal (1-1).

9 of the last 15 games played by Sweden in the European Championships have ended with at least one goal each side.

Italy and Sweden have already met twice during a Euro, and the two teams have always marked (1-1 in 2004, 2-1 Italians in 2000)
Italy has been very solid defensively face apathetic Belgians but inevitably will struggle to control the giant Ibrahimovic facing a Swedish team resting on paw Kallström to create danger. And as Sweden is relatively weak defensively, we can easily think of a game that will see the two nations to shake at least once in his wake.
