The German Football Cup 2017-2018 is the 75th edition of the German Football Cup (DFB-Pokal) whose title holder is the Borussia Dortmund.

The winner receives a place for the group stage of the Europa League 2018-2019, insofar as he is not qualified for the Champions League through the first four places of the championship. In this case, the place would return to the club ranked sixth in the championship.

Also in the season 2017/18 all games of the DFB-Pokal are broadcast live by the Pay-TV-station Sky Germany. In addition, nine sections of the contest will be shown free-to-air in The First of the ARD.New from this season is a fixed broadcasting station for the live broadcast of the draw in the sports show on Sunday after the respective cup round from 6 pm. With the German Football Museum in Dortmund, the draw will also be a permanent place.
