The 2017-2018 season of Eredivisie is the 62nd edition of the first Dutch division. It pitted the eighteen best Dutch clubs in a series of thirty-four days. Eredivisie after four years of playing in the First Division. VVV-Venlo hereby takes over the place of Go Ahead Eagles, which ended after one season in the Eredivisie last and subsequently degraded directly to the First Division.
